Dreya D. Came for the hardcore techno elements but was struck by how special the more intimate and pop-punk-y tracks are; truly inspirational work. It hurts trying to rank these because there's so much quality but I'll try. My top three tracks are Dragster (love the Sampling Masters vibes from specific sounds in this), Lightning Bolt (the first I heard), and Screen Hurt. Runners up would have to be Broken Roses, Time Attack, and Work It Out. Favorite track: Dragster.

Xagrai Oh god this album is so good. It manages to keep me banging my head the whole time while also overwhelming me with emotion, and it's all supremely catchy. Dragster I think exemplifies this with a gorgeous chorus weaving into an otherwise aggressive track. I'm having a ton of trouble picking a favorite track. You've got to get this album! (and yes it feels good to speed to) Favorite track: Work It Out.

I’m outta here Can’t catch me Disappear in the night Headlights shine bright Speed demon Destination unknown Outpacing my radar I’m too far from home Too fast The skyline’s a blur Got tunnel vision Forgetting ‘bout her Shutoko I’m racing myself Grazing the apex ‘Cos I know it hurts less when I speed It hurts less when I speed It hurts less when I speed Goin’ too fast Goin’ too fast Goin’ too fast Goin’ too fast Sinking down low Feel the asphalt Navigating the turns Feel the pain as it burns I’m speeding Not watching the meter Skimming the barrier By one millimetre Gliding The engine notes rising Temp gauge is high And the rear end is sliding Brake late Brakes overheating Not gonna make it Fuck

Dragster 04:31
Start ignition, align your vision Accelerator, foot to the floor Spark Combustion, tough competition Light the tyres, screaming for more Fuel Injection, vapourization Engage the system, straight to the core Boost compression, deep sonic vibration Off the line, a deafening roar Start ignition, align your vision Accellerator, foot to the floor Spark Combustion, tough competition Light the tyres, screaming for more Centre mind and explore your limits Don’t disconnect, no you’ve got to feel it Keep momentum, maintain some tension Don’t hesitate, shift up and believe it Lose control, lose yourself and burn out, burn out, whoa! Take back control, keep your head and ride it out, ride it out, whoa! Reaching high This is your time to shine out To shine out, whoa! This is your time to shine out To shine out, whoa!

I’m ready A blue bolt of lightning, struck down in front of me Oh, a blinding flash, held the key A blue bolt of lightning, struck without warning Oh, a thunderous shock, set me free No feeling, I’m dead inside Haunted by the times I crossed a line No lifeboat, no second chance On my own and waiting for a sign I’m ready, a storms about to break A blue bolt of lightning, struck down in front of me Oh, a blinding flash, held the key A blue bolt of lightning, struck without warning Oh, and all that I knew And all I’d been through Erased for a brand new life with you Don’t look back, don’t say a word The past is filled with things better left unturned White canvas, a brand new slate Don’t slip up, remember what you learned I’m ready a storms about to break Violent tremors Hold onto your heart The dust has settled Rebuild from the start A distant thunder A ray of sunlight Blue bolt of lightning, lightning, held the key Blue bolt of lightning, lightning, set me free Blue bolt of lightning, lightning, awaken me Blue bolt of lightning, lightning

Work It Out 03:45
Yeah you’re gonna work it out Woah! That little voice that hurts you A virus that drains the life inside The silence isn’t easy Thoughts racing, anxiety intertwined And what did all your friends say? Don’t worry, the sun is gonna shine But right now it ain’t that easy At war with yourself, hit the red line No directions where to turn Struggling to remember what I’ve learned Feeling tired and beat up Guess I’m just reaping what I’ve sown There’s gotta be a way Keep driving and forget yesterday It’s no use looking out Look inside and learn what you’re all about
6.
This is a warning This territory is unsafe The system took control Forces incoming, pack your things gotta get out while you can The rebel war is lost The resistance has no hope Don’t fight, you’ll be lucky if you make it out alive Sirens Drowning you in fear Hear drone’s coming near Brutality, don’t stop now, keep running, not in the clear Uncountable loss Relentless dominance This is your last fucking chance, don’t give into the shock Helpless and weak Trembling, can't speak Comes in like thunder Overkill A path of destruction No air, suffocation Deadly machines Drawing near Devils of the storm Too late escape Devils of the storm Devils of the storm

My skull’s cracking open, under the Pressure Forehead is pounding, now worse than ever Pushed to my limit Critical head shot I’m dying, the pain My veins are red hot Bite down Grinding my teeth, down to the jaw Head in my hands, bloodshot eyes burning raw Knockout Rock hard headache I’m dying, the pain Nine to five heat, got me defeat A surge of pressure Soap opera fights, Playstation nights Relieves some pressure System attacked, overreact A surge of pressure Rock n roll tracks, 90s flashbacks Relieves some pressure Nine to five heat, Got me defeat A surge of pressure Soap opera fights, Playstation nights Relieves some pressure System attacked, overreact A surge of pressure Rock n roll tracks, childhood flashbacks Relieves some pressure Confrontations, no vacation I'm gonna crack, get me prozac Never retreat, edge of my seat Drank too much wine, missed the deadline Confrontations, no vacations I'm gonna crack, get me prozac Pain killer kiss, morning train missed The 21st, century curse

Broken Roses 03:52
Fix up the broken roses Try to reverse the pain Cover up all the damage No one will know the shame Repaint the faded petals In a Sharpie shade of red Repairing my broken roses Can’t believe I’m here again Can’t believe I’m here again Hopelessly thrown together, the best I can do With a roll of masking tape and a tube of Uhu I won't accept they're beyond repair But those branches are in despair I haven't given up, there's a chance that you'll see Maybe in another time, from another point of view I know that you're thinking bout me, no? Well I'm thinking bout you I wish I could unsay, all those stupid things I wouldn't be sitting here, waiting for the damn phone to ring Fix up the broken roses Try to reverse the pain Cover up all the damage No one will know the shame There’s a ring round the roses I’m already falling down Tend to my broken roses Can’t believe I’m here again Repairing my broken roses Maybe I can use them again Alone with my broken roses Maybe I’ll just throw them away
9.
Time Attack 02:34
Put in a lap, show me what you’ve got This is my pace, get out of my way Bring it in, bring it in faster Nothing gets close to the time attack master
10.
Screen Hurt 05:29
Look this is not worth fighting anymore Take me away where I’ve never been before Got me cornered and there’s no way to escape Help me erase this video tape Get me away from the analogue I’m done Transport me far from this dimension Spawned in a place that I don’t understand Where am I going and when do I land? There is a place where I feel alright It’s made of polygons and artificial light And there the high score is all I gotta beat Left real problems at the door they won’t delete My world of polygons and artificial light I’m on the edge of what’s real and what’s not Dream to a soundtrack of virtual gun shots Lost on a cyber highway I’m numb I’m trapped here got nowhere else to run Rest dispose, my memories Reset reload, reality Reset dispose, my memories Reset let’s go, I’ve got my TV world I’ve got my TV world Lost in my TV world
